Default settings showing resolution in create transition

I have created a new project and it is using all the default settings. However, when you click create issues, it has the resolution field as required? How do I change this within the default settings as you wouldn't set the reolsution at this stage.

You need to remove the resolution field from the "Create" screen.

When resolution is put on a screen, there is no "none" option presented, so the user will ALWAYS set the resolution. It doesn't matter if you have it mandatory or optional, it will always be set.

You do need to remove the "mandatory" flag if you've set it in the field configuration, but you must NEVER put the resolution on a create or edit screen unless you really do want your issues to be "resolved" all the time.
