Hi, when creating a new Jira project we noticed that, by default, the following; jira-administrators, jira-developers and jira-users groups get created. Is there a way of turning off this functionality? kind regards Amrik

Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

I presume you are speaking of the project roles, and not user groups. Please have a look at this page regarding default project roles.
