Deactivate the eMail notification

Hi there,

We are using JIRA in a DMZ for spezified Projects.

Is there a possibility to deactivate the Email Notification? If i create a new User, they sould get an Email for the Login details, but we won't configure the SMTP Server for Jira.

So it would be nice to set the users password as admin so they could log in, without the Email confirmation.

When you create a new user you can unmark the check box that indicates to notify to the user you are creating, but how they will know their login details if you don't notify them?
