Date and Time Fields in JIRA 6.1.4

Deleted user December 11, 2013

Since upgrading to JIRA 6.1.4 the time and date fields inside issues have changed, for example;

Before Updade: Tomorrow 2:52 PM

Since Update: in 5 hours

Any ideas how to change it back to before the upgrade?

Hi Ashley,

I think this is a feature of relative time representation, which depends on the time gap between current time and logged time to display appropriate time indications. If you prefer to view absolute time, please follow these steps:

  • Open jpm.xml file in JIRA_Installation/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes
  • Locate the key jira.lf.date.relativize
  • Update its default value to false

Restart your JIRA for the change to take effect.

Cheers,

Andy

No, this only lets me change the format of the date in general (24h and 12 clocks etc) not how it's viewed in issues
