Hello,

one JIRA user in our company has problem with displaying Dashboard in Firefox on his computer. When clicking on Dashboard menu button, a tiny shadow appears beneath the upper line. There is no difference if user is logged in or not, not system dashboard either custom dashboard is shown, no dropdown menu appears.

Environment:

  • Win7 Ent SP1
  • Firefox 36.0.1 (but it did not worked in several previous versions as well; later days refresh helped)
  • Java 1.7.0_75

It works great in MSIE 10.0. It works great on another computer with same account. Reinstallation of Firefox did not help.

Same over here.  On all machines using Firefox.

All of them with Windows 7 (Ultimate and Pro), newest patches installed,
Firefox 37.02, newest Java (8.45), newest Flash (17) ... everything's up to date.

Firefox Safemode tested, to no avail.  Cache cleaning neither.

Please help ASAP!  We're right now evaluating Jira (running a test license,
will need a 25+ License), but w/o Firefox working they will not even consider,
cause Firefox is our browser to go ...  :o/

Cheers, Dirk

What happens when you clear the entire history? Including cache, offline content etc?

Unfortunately it does not help. My colleague was asked to uninstall and completely remove Mozilla Firefox folder from C:\Program Files. And then to install Firefox again. I will let know, if it helps.
