Dashboard gadgets' filters revert to My Defaults

We're on Jira Server v8.8 and I have a query regarding Dashboards/Gadgets/Filters.

In Dashboards, when incorporating saved filters, with 'Columns' saved as 'Filter' and not 'My Defaults', when clicking on any of the items within the Dashboard's gadget, to view the filter's results in Detail View, the columns displayed in the detail revert to My Defaults, instead of 'Filter' (as configured).

I manage more than one Dashboard, so the columns displayed by the gadgets in both Dashboards are the same - and, in one of the dashboards, is consistently wrong.

For info - the gadgets involved are the 2 dimensional filter statistics gadget and the issue statistics gadget.

I believe this may have been previously raised, and deemed 'intended behaviour' - but surely, when a filter is configured with Columns set to 'Filter' and not 'My Defaults', then that's the way that they should consistently behave and not be overridden?
