Dashboard: How to view a status with priority over time/history?

I want to be able to view issues of a specific type over the last 30-90 days, grouped by priorities.

This will help visualize and understand the teams specific work and how its functioning and performing over time.

Curious to know how others manage their team when a specific status, such as "in test" is dependent on your KPI's.

So far, I cannot create anything in the dashboards that can help me understand how work might be performing over time in Jira for specific issue types.

Really want to avoid addons for something I'd believe should have shown itself to me already.


Edit: How does anyone evaluate if your issue types are increasing or reducing over time, especially based on priority?
