Customized issues level access to specified users

shahid iqbal July 15, 2014

Hi,

I want some of the users to see only those issues which are created by them.

Example - There are three users in system - A, B, C.

I want user "A" to see only those issues which he has created.

Users B and C can see all issues in the project either created by them or by somebody else.

Please help.

Thanks

Your best option is to use "current reporter browse permission" to let user A see their own issues, then a role in the project to allow B and C in.

Um. You open the file in an editor, make changes, and use the save option.

I'm not sure I can help you if you don't know how to edit files on a computer.

It's part of the Jira installation, as it says in the documentation.

Hi Shahid,

The file should be inside your installation folder/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes.

Hope this helps
