Hi,
We track time worked on numerous projects. Part of these hours are 'billable' and we need to a) report on these items for invoicing, and b) allow customers a way to track their use of 'billable' hours to manage their allowance.
We are using Jira Cloud.
I cannot find any add-on that can do this.
One potential solution is to add a client as a named user on a Jira project. But this a) uses a license, and b) allows the client to see more information than they should.
We can use the time tracking report and export all fields, but the process is time-consuming, manual, and is not scalable for the number of projects we concurrently support.
Has anyone found an add-on that can summarise work logged on a specific project across any given time period? And can this data be exposed to a client, or easily exported to XLS or PDF?
There is a request to expose hours worked in Service Desk, but no idea if/when this will be implemented.
Thanks.
Hey @Paul Hunt,
Exply for JIRA could absolutely do this job. Unfortunately this add-on isn't available for JIRA cloud yet. You may have a look at exply.io to get a self-hosted Exply, importing the necessary information and grant customers access to a specific set of data.
If you need help, feel free to contact me.
sunny regards
Fabian
Hello,
Try to look at Tempo timesheets
