We actually use Jira 6.4.12 and the ServiceDesk plugin. We’d like to provide an access to the Customer Portal to our customers.
In the terms of the license agreement (https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedesk025/jira-service-desk-licensing-754977562.html) you have a clause, declaring that there’s no need for customers to have a user license to access the Customer Portal.
Unfortunately we’ve faced a problem that no user can access the Customer Portal without granting him a “jira-user”.
Is there any way to provide an access to the Customer Portal to our customers without granting them any licensed access.
Hi Vladimir,
So if you add a customer to the project under people you can't access with this? This should work.
