I have a requirement and created a custom field . i can view the created field when i create a new issue , will it be reflected in already existing issue . if we need to make it reflect in old issue . what are the possible ways to make changes

Yes, the new field should appear on existing issues.
However, the field will not appear on an issue's View screen until you've added a value to that field. JIRA does not display fields with blank or null values. To add a value, click the "Edit" button when viewing the issue and find the new field.
