Custom field translation : description translation does not apply

I try to use the custom field translate (in administration -> issues -> custom fields)

I works fine for "field name".

However it does not work for "description" (neither translation nor modifications) :

Here are the behaviors I do not understand :

- descriptions are all in english even for french users

- if I change the description (in custom fiels menu) it does not apply (neither in french, neither in english)

- If I remove the description in the Field configuration menu, it is immediately ovewritten by the english version (this way I can apply changes in english version but it is not very convenient)

Note that I also tried to configure Jira as a french user and things are jusu reverted : all descriptions are in french even for english users.

I have Jira 6.1 version

Hi All!

I have the same problem but it is not consistent. For some custom fields, the translated description (German) takes hold and for others it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be a pattern for this.

We are also on JIRA 6.1.
