Hello All,
I have a screen which is configured to come up on a workflow transition. I have created a custom field and put it on the screen but it does not show up while doing the transition.
The Field configuration is correct, the field is not hidden and it exists there.
I am not able to debug what is wrong here as the other field which is system field assignee shows up correctly on the workflow transition.
Can you help solve this?
yes that is correct because when I drag the field on the main create edit and delete screen, it is shown correctly. But I dont want it on those screen, I need it only on the workflow transition screen.

Atishay,
Have you associated the field configuration scheme with the project?
Is the transition set to be seen by particular group of people?

Atishay,
In that case, remove it from the screens, then in the workflow, click on the transition in point --> Edit Transition --> Add your screen (as shown)

Yes the correct field configuration scheme is associated with the project. That is why when I use it in the screen for Create View or Edit I can see it, but when in workflow transition it is not working.
Transition can be seen my me for now and I do get the screen with Assignee (system field) and comment field, but not the custom field I have created. It is a Select List single choice field.

I have the same thing. Custom field not visible in the transition but is assigned to the screen attached to the transition. The custom field is not restricted by issue type or project. Also tried changing the screen tied to the transition to another screen and then back. Nope. Then tried setting the transition screen to 'none' and back. Nope.
The only significant thing is that there are 2 custom fields with the same name but one is a Number Field and the other a Select List (single choice) and neither can be seen in the transition. Integrity Check ran cleanly and re-index is running.
Did you find a solution?

Fortunately, one of the duplicated fields, the "Number Field", had no data associated with it and was attached to a screen but no project. We were able to delete the field and the "other" field, the "Select List (single choice)" field, appeared in the transition and was usable. {whew}
Don't know what your solution was but my next step was to export the data associated with the field to CSV, delete the field and then recreate and repopulate. Given that the issue was resolved by removing one of the fields with the duplicated name that might have been a lot of work with no value.
"If" I ran into it again, I suspect I'd have to export the data for both fields, recreate and repopulate the field used in the transition to see if it appeared and, if successful, then recreate the other field, repopulate and see if both the fields were visible in the transition or not.
Good luck out there!
