I have created a custom field " category" with list of values of " Development, Design, QA".
This Customer field is paced on Log Work screen.
User selects Log work , enters the time spent, and selects the respective "category"on which the time was spent on.
Time spent is logged but not the "category" value.
What needs to be done so the "category" value is logged in the issue?
Sounds like you don't have the "Category" field added to the View Screen for the Project.
You'll need to figure out which Screen Scheme(s) are relevant and then look to see which Screen is the View Screen, then add the field to that Screen.
