Hi,
Actually i created a new workflow for test case issue type. I have a project called 'Test' where there is a 'Software simplified workflow' and a customized 'Test Bug workflow' are associated. Now i created a new test case workflow for the customized issue type 'Test case'. Adding this test case workflow to that same scheme of Project 'Test' reflected its new status 'TC-Passed' in all other workflows throughout the JIRA projects.
Total JIRA system workflow itself got changed and am literally confused how its happened when i worked on only one 'TEST' Project and its workflows.
EX: 'In-Progress' option is changed to 'TC-Passed' throughout all issue types in Jira. It creates a huge impact in the JIRA Project.
Could anyone can help to resolve this issue asap.
Note: Am using JIRA Cloud version.(JIRA v1000.184.1)
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sathiya
Hi Mikael, Thanks for coming forward.Actually i have copied JIRA existing workflow and removed all statuses and added new status such as like TC-Ready to Run, TC-Run-in-Progress, TC-Passed, TC-Failed, Tc-Blocked, TC-Invalid.
But what i see in JIRA system workflow is 'TC-Ready to Run' in the place of 'Open' status and in 'In-Progress' status is replaced as 'TC-Passed'.
Did you rename an existing status in your test case workflow, or did you create a completely new status called TC-Passed? From your description it sounds like you renamed an existing status, that would explain why all your other workflows are affected too, since statuses are shared across all workflows.
