When using user name in navigation bar search some issues did not return in issue list where user was reporter. Does anyone know what fields are included in search criteria? Is it looking at software and service related fields? User is licensed as JSM agent and software user but created issue in question as reporter in service project. Odd one off situation, but calls to question the accuracy of search data, since we don't know exactly what fields are included in native search feature.
Thank you!
It should search all fields as long as the user has relevant permissions (normally Browse) for those issues. Can you provide a specific example of a search which isn't yielding the result you'd like but where the user can see that issue when accessing directly?
Apologies for my delayed follow up, manager was using first name last name of employee to generate list of all related work. Whether assignee, reporter, lead resource, etc. It didn't return all results from JSM and Jira software.
