Creating users ignores the full name you put in.

When I create a new user and type a full name in, it ignores it and replaces it with the email. Why is it doing this?

Hi Roger,

I have not encountered this particular problem before.  Could you please let us know more about which platform you're using?  (ie Jira Cloud vs Jira Server)

And if this is Jira Server, please let me know what version of Jira you're running.

Also are you just using the User Management -> Create User button in order to create these accounts?  If you were connecting Jira to an external directory like Crowd or LDAP, then it might be a configuration setting in regards to how Jira is syncing data from those other directories.   But if you were creating these directly inside of Jira itself, I can't yet see why the Full Name field would be anything other than the value you entered there.
