Creating projects in JIRA 7 without creating new Workflows/Issue Schemes/Screens

Tristan Cook January 3, 2016

Hi there,

Is there any way to create new JIRA projects in JIRA 7 using our own default schemes for Workflows, Screens, Issues, etc.? It seems like all the options currently available automatically create their own, and deleting all these duplicates after changing the project over to our company standard is frustratingly time-consuming. Is there any current or planned workaround for this?

Cheers!

Look at the bottom of the "create project" popup box - there should be a line there that you can click to say "use shared schemes".  It'll then ask you which ones to re-use.
