Hello all,
So basically I have Fault as an existing issue type already with other fields like summary, description, link, attachment etc.
What I am trying to do is to create a new drop down called Project with options of different projects so the tickets are easier to group when raised in service desk.
However, what I have done so far is created a new issue type called Project and added all the project options in. I don't want that.
I just want to add another field in the existing fault issue type so when a ticket is raised there is another field.
Please help.

So if I understand correctly what you're saying, what you need to do is to create a new Custom field and then make sure that is shows on a screen that the Fault type uses
