Create feature branches from...

Till about two week ago we were able to create Git branches from Jira and indicate what is the source of the branch should be. Now the source is "stuck" on master and the Branch From option is disabled. Is it a bug that I have to take to support or was there some source of configuration rolled-out with lates changes that will allow me to control it?

In our case we want to feature brach from "development" and not the "master"

Hi David,

This was a bug that only affected Firefox. It should be fixed now. If you find any more bugs, feel free to let us know in the Bitbucket issue tracker.

Thanks,

Zach

Hey David,

I'm not sure I completely follow you when you write:

"Now the source is "stuck" on master and the Branch From option is disabled."

Could you give me more details please?

Cheers, Justen

sorry for delay in reply

in the created branch dialog the pull-down for indicating which git branch to branch form was disabled and by default assigned to "master" branch making it impossible to create new branches from " development" or any other.

In any case this apparently was a bug in FF and it has been fixed

This issue is now presenting itself in Google Chrome (my version is 30.0.1599.69 m).
