Create a new JIRA account login for new employee

How do I do this this for a new colleague or who should I contact?

Hi @Cyrus Balanlayos 

  1. Jira Administration (top right)
  2. User Management
  3. Create User
  4. Add
    1. Email Address
    2. Full Name
    3. Username
    4. Password
  5. Create the user
  6. Add the user to proper groups for permissions (usually named jira-software-users)

Note: This is for Jira Server if you are using Jira Cloud... please let me know.

Thank you @Thomas B !!!!  Super helpful.  Just realized that I do not have access to the User Management screen, but the rest of the instructions are super helpful!

Now I need to find out within my department who has access to the User Management screen.  Thanks again!
