Create Release Notes with Confluence not working for folders

When changing the Jira Release to "released," we can create release notes in Jira. In the past, the page/parent we selected was a confluence page. We have since changed the page to a folder in Confluence. When searching for a confluence page/parent, the folder name does not appear on the list.

Welcome to the community.

This might be related to the new "Folders" option in Confluence.

My advice is to reach out to Atlassian Support and present them with this issue. I think this is probably currently not possible.

Welcome to the community. Could you please confirm how do you create the release note page in Confluence? Are you using Jira automation or using any app from the Atlassian marketplace?
