Counter of same issue coming up multiple times

Hi, I'm a new Jira user and we use it as part of our support team.

We have come across a situation where we are doing the same task over and over again i.e. pulling an application number from a database or getting the request response logs.

Is there a way to represent a counter of the same issue/card so we can show this metric to higher ups in effort to invest in CI around these highly repeated tasks.

You could use some ways to categorise those issue. E.g. components or labels or a dedicated custom field. This field could be mandatory while resolving the issue.

And than you could create filters or issue statistics on this components/labels/fields.
