Is there a way to copy a field from a subtask to a parent task without an app that requires payment, I've been trying it for a project but I haven't found out how to do it :(

You might try the Copy to Subtask plugin.  I have not used this personally, but from reviewing the description it appears to help in regards to copying field values to and from parent/subtask issues.

@Andrea Mendez, Not that I know of.  Beecom had one that was free but went paid last year.  There are many add-ons that will provide this functionality but they are paid.
