Copy Zephyr test step level linked issues and links to Linked Issues field

Zephyr plugin has a feature where user can create linked issues from test step level. However, in order to have the main issue to have "Linked Issues" field updated, user needs to add those links manually. It makes harder for reporting issues with linked tickets in JQL, if these test step level linked issues are not manually added to the Issue level links.

I am trying to use script runner and issuepikcer plugin to copy test step level linked issues to "Linked Issues" field. I thought this could be done either querying the database or use a scripted field to query these Zephyr Test Step Defects table.
