Can we copy issues from one version to another or one project to another project. Sometimes there are similar tasks to be done and closed every month...the outputs may be different but the task heads are same...so I was looking for a copy feature ..I checked BULK operation..but it only has, edit, move, transition or delete option ..

Thanks..

Hi, you are looking at the clone issue function. Refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Cloning+an+Issue for more information.

Bulk clone is currently not available. Vote @ https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-6404 and for workarounds.

Some suggestions:

  1. Clone Plus Plugin for JIRA will help with cloning issues between projects
  2. How to create projects or sets of issues based on a template
