Is it possible to connect JIRA and MS project 2010 without connector plugin?

JIRA does not export things in MS Project format.  As far as I know, MS Project does not have any code for reading JIRA data.

So yes, it is possible to do it without the connector add-on from the marketplace, but you're going to have to write the code to do it in one of the two applications. (Or find an alternative to the Connector)

Thanks Nic. The problem is our project is not so big to assign budget to buy any plugin. Is there any public code I can use? or I should write it individually?
