Connecting Django customers to Jira Service Desk & Confluence

shlomi@ironscales.com March 6, 2018

Hello

We want our users (Django users) to be able to search the Confluence knowledge base and to open a ticket without the need to login to Atlassian (after they logged to Django).

Were are using the cloud version, is that right that we will need to use SSO with the identity manager in addition to adding a 3-rd party identity provider (such as Okta)?

Once logged, we want our Django users to be listed as Jira 'Customers' in Atlassian.

Thank you.

You are correct, you will need to use SSO with Identity manager, provided by one of the other user directories.

Thank you @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-

For pricing calculations: for every external user Atlassian will charge 3$/month and Okta 2$/month so we will need to pay 5$/month for every external user, right?

I don't know, I've not looked at the pricing recently.
