We start to follow the procedure to upgrade jira nodes using the zero downtime steps from this link

based on that steps there are point from which we are confuse :
1 - It is mentioned to upgrade Jira Service Desk using zip file but then it is also mentioned you can do it from App upgrade directly from Jira UI, what is best to do ?
2- To update first not, it is mentioned to set Jira in Upgrade mode. Then at some point we copy the new installation folder in order to be used as template for Node 2. When using this template copy in order to be used for node 2, do we have to place Jira node 2 in Update mode as well ? or we simply copy installation file from Node 1 to Node 2 ?
3- When copying template installation file to node 2, do we overwrite current installation folder or do we need to copy it to a new installation folder and point the Jira-home to this new folder ?
