Confluence is failed to connect to Jira directory

김형준 [Vehicle System] January 6, 2021

Dear all,

I executed Jira and Confluence as docker container on same server.

And I configured Application connected using OAuth.

On Jira, 2 accounts exist : admin, user-A

On Confluence, 1 account exists : admin

And I configured Jira User Server and added application:

name : confluence

password: **** (set)

IP address :

::1

127.0.0.1

10.113.81.48

And I tried to add User directory on Confluence, 404 Forbidden occurs

Directory : Atlassian Jira

Name : JIRA Server

Server URL : http://10.113.81.48:8080/

Application name : confluence

password: Same password on confluence Jira User Server setting.

I used latest version of Jira-Software, Confluence Server on dockerhub.

I can't find what is the problem.

I need your help.

Thank you

Hi, @김형준 [Vehicle System]

It seems Jira and Confluence can't connect together, this usually happens when you create the containers, but you don't create the network for the containers, or you didn't export the ports to the docker host.

Additionally, you can refer to this https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/application-links-troubleshooting-guide-718668765.html, article, which helps to troubleshoot the Application links.

Hope it helps.
