Configuring Issue-level Security

Roy Chapman November 10, 2014

Not sure where I am going wrong here.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Issue-level+Security

I havre created an issue security scheme (Client data)

I have added 2 security levels (Contains client data / No client data)

I have set a default on "No client data"

I have assigned a group to "Contains client data"

I have associated with a project. When I did this it rep9ored updated the issues.

I create an issue and I don't see this field. When I look at existsing issues I don't see this field.

When I edit an issue and select Configure fields/where is my field, I don't see the field.

What have I missed?

Is the Security Level Field on your screens?

Have you given yourself Set Issue Security permission?

If I am reading this correctly, I suspect your account does not have the permission "set security level" in this project, so JIRA is hiding the field from you.
