Hi,

I have Cloud versión and I'm configuring mail handlers but I have a problem because I don't want create user when an user reports an issue, because this is a JIRA License. I have thousand the users but if the user is not report can not show the issues updates.  Any solution ?.

But how could notifiy the initial reporter when the issue is closed or the status has changed?.

With a default reporter that is indeed not possible to receive updates. To receive notification updates, the initial reporter must have Jira application access and will consume a Jira license. (note: Jira Service Desk supports such a setup https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Managing+customers )

Hi Cesar,

Use the Default Reporter option in the mail handlers.

With a Default Reporter the sender of the message does not need an Jira account to create issues.
