Closing Crucible Review Attempts Update of JIRA Issue

Shelli November 17, 2013

Hi,

I have JIRA 6.1.3 and Crucible 3.1.5. When I try to close a code review in Crucible that is linked to a JIRA issue, I get an error displyed that:

Issue:
MYISSUE-1 - You are not authorized to make the requested state change.

Status:
Could not authenticate with JIRA - invalid username or password. Please contact your Crucible administrator.

It doesn't say what state change it's trying to make. But more importantly, why is it trying to make one? I've looked in both JIRA and Crucible to find a where updating an issue on a code review closure is set and can't find it. I do not want my issue state changed. How do I fix this?

An associated JIRA issue should not be closed when you close the review.

Please post the full DEBUG logs including stack trace from the server when you see that error.

Since I'm not comfortable posting my debug logs on a public forum, I'll create an issue the next time I encounter this (currently I don't have any open reviews). Which logs do you want, Crucible, JIRA or both?
