Clone's automation, clone two times

Viviane da Silva Moreira September 12, 2024

Hello!!

A rule was created to clone issue and move sequentially to To Do to done, however when doing this two issues are cloned but only one should be cloned.

Thanks!!

Hi @Viviane da Silva Moreira

Thanks for the screenshot. Ive tested this and it only clones once and it doesn't link as you need.

This is due to the BRANCH and the automation might be project automation instead of global?

Please try this:

- Delete the branch and link issue

- use the CLONE ISSUE and add the linked issue there:

2024-09-17 16_48_17-Audit log - Automation - CaseSF - Jira — Mozilla Firefox.jpg

- Can you check the audit log and send us a screenshot for the double cloning?

Do you have another rule running that might be cloning? a post function?

Regards

Aaron

Hello, there must be some instability in Jira, because another project is happening.

I have to open a ticket in script runner app.

If they can help me, I will answer here.

Thanks.

If you do what @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ suggests - does it work? This is a much cleaner solution.
