Clone JIRA project without sharing screens and workflows

Richard Cross March 19, 2019

Is there an easy way to fully clone a JIRA project with ScriptRunner, i.e. copy screens and workflows for that project rather than sharing?

The problem with shared workflows and screens is that Project Admins can't do anything with them, putting the burden of work on a central team of top-level admins to do that (extremely tedious) work for them... which doesn't scale well on very large systems.

Hi @Richard Cross

you can accomplish this using Configuration Manager for Jira - it will allow you to clone your existing Jira project with all its configuration data, boards, dashboards, and issues and deploy them to different Jira instance.

You can find detailed information about your use case in our documentation space.

If you need any help or facing an issue with your project, don't hesitate to contact our support team or me.

Hope this helps :)
