Choosing which issue fields are including in email notification

I'm trying to change the email notifications to include certain fields. Presently, it includes Assignee, Components, Description, Environment, etc. I would also like it to include a custom field we created named 'Company'. I did read about 'Customizing Email Content' in JIRA documentation, but it's not very helpful.

Does anyone know a simple way to do this, or if there's any third party plugin that would help?
