Child Field Read Only

We are using JIRA 6.2. I selected readonly Add Child but on the screens I am able to edit the child field. Can we restrict?

Hi,

This feature was implemented only for Database Child Information custom field. 

If you want to use another type of custom field, you can use the lfDisable routine from the Live Fields feature of JJupin plugin.

This way you can make any database child input read-only in any screen you want, by only writing a simple SIL script.
