We've been using JIRA for a while, and for some reason we don't have the options to set or change the status or resolution on issues we're tracking.
Which means we can't close any issues or change requests.
The permissions helper tells us that we have permission to close and resolve issues. But we have no way of doing this.
I believe this is resolved already, but for future reference, you can also check the Permission Helper tool within JIRA. It will let you know why you can or cannot do stuff and what permissions allow you to do that. It's really cool and useful.
