We have JIRA running on a red-hat linux server and used to have a dedicated user account for it.
Due to an accident, the dedicated user account was removed from the server, so we have created a new account ready to be dedicated to JIRA.
Although it seems JIRA still runs fine (even after the dedicated user account was removed), I hope to change make sure JIRA runs by a new dedicated user account, not the old one.
Is there any way that I can make sure of this?
Or should I remove JIRA and re-install it using a new dedicated user account?
