Does anyone have experience with changing the custom email address in JIRA Service Desk?
I need to change it from firstname.lastname@example.org to email@example.com but I'm a little concerned that just entering a new value into the field might have terrible ramifications! Like preventing all jobs in progress from responding or whatever.
We're on cloud, so we only get one custom email address. At present we're forwarding firstname.lastname@example.org to email@example.com via the mail server to make it all work, but we really need to change it to company2 now so that responses from our help desk come from the correct company.
Any advice and suggestions most greatfully received!
