Is there an easy way of changing the group associated with a project role on all the projects at once? We have 45 projects and when JIRA was first setup (before I started here) no thought was given to the Project Roles and how they should be used, so jira-users is the default group for the user project role. I am now looking into restricting the access so users only see/can access specific projects.

Thanks,
Mikael

You can write a script which will update the roles using the JIRA rest API
