Changes to Scrum board that limits records

Deleted user September 12, 2017

There is a recent change in Jira cloud that mean my scrum boards no longer work

I get the message

TOO MANY ISSUES ARE TRYING TO LOAD

It will take you eons to scroll through mountains of issues.

I have a large backlog and numerous concurrent sprints

What is the limit on records on a board?

Hi Ron,

This is due to a recent change in Jira Software.

To reduce slow load times and accelerate your JIRA Cloud experience, boards will now display a maximum of 5000 issues at a time. If your board tries to display more than 5000 issues, you'll be prompted to update your filters.

You will need to update your filter for the Scrum board to return 5000 or fewer issues.

Let us know if you have any trouble!

Kind Regards,
Shannon

Hello @AKBAR,

The change still applies, you shouldn't be able to display more than 5000 issues on a board.

If you're not returning the correct issues per your filter, I recommend raising a new question so we can help you with that! Otherwise, by replying on an older thread, a lot of people won't see your question and be able to assist.

Regards,

Shannon
