Change the name of the System Events in JIRA

I am using JRIA cloud. Inittialy our JIRA configuration was in German but we now are migrating everything to english.

We changed the custom events to English, but we also need to change the system ones. 

Is there any option to do so?

Not sure if this will change the system events 9might need to contact Atlassian) but the settings below impact the rest of the Cloud instance when our previous had selected English(UK) instead of English (United States) 

Admin > System > General Config > Internationalization > indexing language / Default laguage

Thanks Shawn, but it is already in English, even reindexing dind't change anything
