Change domain for Jira, Confluence and BitBucket

Vitaliy Bendyna October 4, 2017

Hello!

We're going to change domain for standalone Jira, Confluence and BitBucket. According to the documentation, we'll need to change only Base URL (from https://example.com to https://example.net), but in Jira and Confluence we have a lot of external links, pointing from Confluence to Jira and from Jira to Confluence. All of this links are written in comments. How we can change all that links without changing them manually? Some links are located in Jira's custom fields.

Thank you!

Hi!

As I understand correct, it is web links, not under app integration link.

You have two way:

1. Update in DB: customfieldvalue, jiraissue, jiraaction.

2. Just configure on revers proxy rewrite/Redirect rules about domains.

If I were you, I would prefer revers proxy configure way.

Have a nice day!
