Change “Issue Type" text on Create Issue page for specfic page

Hi,

Is there any OOTB or custom option available to change the “Issue Type” text on create issue page for specific project on JIRA Cloud instance?

For Example: If any user click on “Create Issue” button and he will select that specific project then he will get different text instead of “Issue Type”. Is it possible for specific project?

Best Regards

Dishant

Not on a project by project basis.  You can use the translation stuff to change "issue type" to something else, but it is global, all projects will have the new text.

Thanks for the reply Nic, Can we achieve this task on hosted to do some customization?

Yes, you'll need to add some code to detect the project and rename the field in all places (I'd go for the field template files, but it would be hacking the core) Frankly though, this is a lot of effort to make your system behave in an inconsistent way.
