Cant set resolution on issues

Hi,

I have setup a project using Kanban Board based upon Jira build in workflow and have modified the resolutions in admin. When i create an issue the resolution setting comes up empty (see attached image)

How do i get resolutions to be displayed?

That's a cascading-select list, not the resolution field.

If you really want to use that field, you need to put the options in the custom field option lists (only admins can do that)

Secondly, the actual system Resolution field should NOT be put on an Edit screen. It should only appear on screens which are on transitions from "open" type status to "closed" or "Done" type status.
