Is there a way to log in into jira.atlassian.com with an old account, not with the Atlassian ID?

Entering login name into "email" field gives "invalid email" error, and using the email associated with the old account logs me in with the Atlassian ID. It seems that an empty account has been created on JAC with login name = email; the old account has the same email but different login name.

Am I missing something? Anyone having the same problems?

Yes, that's what I did. And merged accounts. But the account that was merged was not the right one - probably I had at some point created another JIRA account that had the same email.
