Cannot find or download the Spreadsheet Import Plugin that's on the marketplace

Mark Haller December 13, 2013

I can see there's a plugin here that I want to try out (as the JIM is failing with bugs presently that are being investigated by Atlassian) - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.catworkx.jira.plugins.jira-spreadsheet-import-plugin

How do I download/install it? The link to the JAR also fails.

And there's "no support?" - not even contact details to the authors?

If you follow the link to "Source" on their BitBucket page, you can reach their profile and send a message from there: https://bitbucket.org/cwx/profile/membersand https://bitbucket.org/holle2de.

It looks like an open source product. Authors are just sharing by generosity but they don't have to provide enterprise support. If there's a bug, you might as well download the source and improve it.

Good luck!

Hello,

If you need to have that part of spreadsheets functionality, which regards any calculations, you may consider CelesteCS Math for Confluence. There are versions for both Confluence Server and Confluence Cloud.

Assume you have a table with three columns and three rows on your page – from A1 till C3, where row 1 is the header row. The sum calculation formula for rows 2 and 3 will be simple:

SUM(Table1.A2:C3)

There is a plenty of other functions in the macro, so you may perform any calculations using formulas in EXCEL style.

Thanks!
