Cannot drag items in backlog after using quick filter anymore?

Since the holiday period not sure what has changed and if this is an introduced bug or not. But now on our backlog view if I use a quick filter I cannot drag and drop items in sprints/backlog etc. To get the drag and drop to work I need to refresh the page after I have used the quick filter and the drag and drop actually works again.

I am using the new Jira interface. Anyone else have this issue?

May you check that:

  1. the board's filter ends with "...ORDER BY Rank ASC"
  2. and that the quick filter doesn't include the ORDER BY clause?

Having the issues not ordered by Rank is known to cause problems with the drag & drop functionality.

If that's not the cause, I'd suggest to open a ticket with Atlassian Support.
