Hi Paul,

If the file is available through http:// then you should be able to do this.

This should ofcourse not be done using http://localhost but instead with the servername.

Best regards,

Peter

Thanks, Peter

I am trying to link to a file on a shared drive here at my company

I am using the full server name rather than the mapped letter (v:\), but still no joy

Kind Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul, Can you open the file using your browser? (with a http:// address). Best regards, Peter

The file is not available though http://

the only other option is trying to use file:///<location of the file as displayed in your file explorer>
